Located high above the Sea of Galilee on 50 acres of gently sloping land, Jordan River Village will be the first year-round, permanent site in the Middle East designed especially for children with life-threatening, chronic or genetic diseases. Children will be able to challenge themselves, gain independence and just have fun. The camp will welcome Jewish, Muslim and Christian campers from Israel and its neighboring countries. It is scheduled to open in 2008.
