The Secret Garden

There is a secret garden in Barretstown.  Nobody knows what the secret is. But I do. Mystical creatures live here on this beautiful grass, which is covered with dew every morning. I hope nobody will find out who these wonderful, magic creatures are, because  that would be fatal, because they keep the balance. We would not be safe without them either. I know the secret ways, but if anybody else would know them that would be disaster. I know these creatures and they fascinate me with their openness and sincerity. I have already seen them. I feel the power of life, that they have given to me - the secret they have shown me. The essence of life. With the clearest spring water.

Although I know that they could read our mind, that does not disturb me. I have found harmony. I have found the language that is understood by everybody. The language of the ancient song. I do not know what that power is, but I know it is good.  I will follow the voice of it.

The Colorado Camp Campaign for Laughter

Colorado Camp is the newest Provisional member of the Hole in the Wall Camps.  Located in the heart of Colorado, Camp Colorado is a stunning 85 acres along the Colorado River near Dotsero, Colorado and 2 hours from central Denver.  The camp seeks to enrich the lives of children who have chronic or life-threatening illnesses by providing camping experiences, with appropriate medical support, that are fun, memorable, safe and empowering.  OK Corral Camp is set to open in the summer of 2010.  If you are interesting in learning more, visit their website www.coloradocamp.org.

Flying Horse Farms (Ohio) Will Help Campers "Unbridle the Laughter"
Flying Horse Farms a Provisional Member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps has a target opening of 2009. Flying Horse Farms will be situated on 167 acres of land in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, 45 minutes north of Columbus. We're very excited to be assisting this group to help bring the magic of HITW camps to more children suffering from a serious illness. E-Philanthropy
We are excited to announce the launch of Team Hole in the Wall. Team Hole in the Wall is a grassroots, web-based fundraising initiative in support of the Hole in the Wall Camps. The Team's goal is to generate funds and bring awareness to Hole in the Wall Camps throughout the United States and abroad. Our participants compete in events such as marathons, 5K's, cycling events and triathlons with the goal of sending a child to Camp for one week. Visit the Web site at teamholeinthewall.org.
